به درخواست كتبي و تلفني چند نفر از خوانندگان متن انگايسي پيام فدراسيون جهاني هموفيلي را به رئيس جمهور ايران به اطلاع خوانندگان مي رسانم.
Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
President
The Islamic Republic of Iran
Dear Mr. President,
On behalf of the international hemophilia community, I would like to thank you for
your leadership and commitment to provide support and treatment for people with
hemophilia among the Afghani refugees who have fled Afghanistan and currently
reside in Iran.
We strongly believe that this initiative and the generosity shown by the Iranian
government serves as a great model as to how neighboring countries should interact
during crises. The generosity of the Iranian government and Ministry of Health will
certainly serve as an example for others to follow.
The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) is an international not for profit
organization, with a membership of 113 countries, officially recognized by the
World Health Organization (WHO). The WFH has been dedicated to improving
hemophilia care worldwide for the last 45 years.
The WFH closely works with Iranian Hemophilia Society to improve hemophilia
care in the Middle East Region. As part of this collaboration, we anticipate that
Tehran will be the venue for a regional meeting during 2009. Should this be the
case, I look forward to the opportunity to meet personally with the Ministry of
Health and to extend my personal thanks.
Thank you very much, and we wish the Iranian health authorities all success in this
humanitarian and noble cause.
Sincerely yours,
Mark W. Skinner
